Switzerland has been on my bucket list for a while! Somehow it took almost 3 years to get there, even though we're just a 2 hour drive from the border. We visited the beautiful city of Bern. It's a small city with a great view of the mountains. This was Will and I's first experience being in a city with German as the main language. It definitely made it interesting navigating our way around the city and trying to read signs. It was a little chilly, but the beautiful fall colors made up for the temperature.
The Alps were beautiful from this view.
They had a bear park in the middle of the city.
There were lots of stores and restaurants under ground along the main city streets.
Here are pictures from the light show the city puts on in the fall.
Albert Einstein signs and statues were all over the city because he lived in Bern for a few years
Will and I were enjoying all the signs in German on our trip!
